Hello!

My name is Amy and I support families across Anglesey and North Wales through pregnancy, birth and the early years, offering calm, responsive and evidence-informed care.

My work centres on supporting parents to feel informed, confident and supported — without pressure, judgement or rigid methods.

I work in a way that is:

  • Evidence-informed, drawing on current research and professional training

  • Holistic, looking at the whole family rather than isolated issues

  • Responsive and relationship-centred, respecting babies, parents and their unique circumstances

  • Practical and realistic, focused on what works in real life

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Support is always tailored to your baby, your family and your values.

Experience and Training

My background includes professional training and experience across:

  • Antenatal education and hypnobirthing

  • Infant feeding and lactation support (IBCLC-led)

  • Holistic baby sleep support

  • Early parenting and postnatal support

This allows me to support families with a joined-up understanding of pregnancy, birth, feeding, sleep and emotional wellbeing, and recognising how closely these areas are connected.

Why families work with me

Parents often come to me because:

  • They want reassurance rather than rigid advice

  • They’ve received conflicting information and want clarity

  • Something doesn’t feel quite right, even if they can’t name it

  • They want support that respects both their baby and themselves

  • They have reached a crisis and cannot see a way out

  • They want a more holistic approach rather than over-medicalised answer

My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to support you in making informed choices that feel right for your family.

I look forward to working with you!

Amy Northage-Milburn, IBCLC
